Sacrament joins in celebrating The Season of Creation.
The season officially begins on September 1st, the Day of Prayer for Creation, and ends 4 October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology beloved by many Christian denominations. We celebrate the life of St. Francis at our annual Blessing of the Animals event which will take place on October 5th.
During this season, you will notice an intentional emphasis on creation in our liturgies and prayers. Each Sunday afternoon, we will be joined by biologist-turned-pastor, Rev. Kate Fields for our Food + Faith class where we will learn about the intersection of food and faith with a focus on our food system here in Nashville.
Colossians Bible Study
Join us every 2nd Thursday at 7pm for our study of Paul’s letter to the Colossians. We meet at the church. All are welcome.
Pub Theology
Join us the 4th Thursday of every month at 7pm at Living Waters Brewing for Pub Theology.
We will have a weekly topic from which Fr. Preston or another leader will share on how the church has approached it. We will then open up for discussion and questions.
